"When we arrived home after our overnight stay, my husband discovered that he'd left behind his toilettries bag with all his meds in the bathroom. We called the hotel and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful--they had found the bag and promised to hold it for us, and when my son (who lives in the area) went to pick it up, the staff insisted on calling me to make sure it was ok to give it to him. That kind of customer care is priceless. Thank You Colonial Inn!"

"Security issue was that one of two locks was broken. Tub was very slippery with no treatment to prevent falling. Also no safety bars. Was required to post $150.00 security deposit upon checkin. This requirement was not provided prior to arrival. I'm still awaiting promised VISA reversal."

"The place was very good and the staff I met were excellent. I will be back. The property however needs immediate attention. It's understandable that the building itself might always need some upkeep, (heavy water damage had collapsed part of the front overhang), but finding, and more importantly leaving the entrance is outright dangerous. "The room was terribly dirty!!! There was a dirty rag hanging in the shower, the towels were dirty, and the linen was also dirty. Do not stay here! Not recommended!!"
