"For a passing through on a road trip, this hotel was great. There was a lot of big rigs and electric trucks in the parking lot but the hotel was quiet. It was very clean. I used the pool and hot tub and it was a great break after a long drive across country. Room was clean and comfortable. Some things maybe needed update and just painted over but everything worked and was comfortable. Breakfast was nice with sausage egg rounds. Their coffee which was available 24 hours was great! "The Elms is for sure a must stay destination. The staff went the extra mile all the time. The historical charm was a big draw. The property was so beautiful to walk around. Out door pool was closed for the season but that will bring us back during the summer. The hot tub is open until midnight. We used the spa and it was worth it. The city is fun to stroll through and explore the historic downtown. "
