"Beautiful old inn in a convenient location. Lovely room with balcony overlooking the Main Street with shops and church steeple and mountains in the background. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the room was noisy at times. Anyone walking by in the hall on the old creaky floors or talking was well heard i the room. Headboard of bed also on wall abutting the hallway which did not help the noise buffer. Other than that, I would highly recommend this inn."

Food in the on-site restaurant, and MANY conversations with people that ENJOY working there... DELIGHTFUL! I was solo for my visit.
