"Staff at check in was rude and seemed like we were an inconvenience. Breakfast staff not helpful and rude. Pretty sure they need customer service training. Check out was polite but was unsure about questions I asked. Sad part we have stayed in the past with a great experience."

"The bathroom smelled like sewer. We kept the fan on which helped a lot. I think renovations are in the works which is great. The location was great."

"Gave us that was still occupied even though it wasn't supposed to be. Suite was nice but only the TV in bedroom worked. Bathroom was small made for 1 person no counterpart as it was for their fancy above the counter sink. Without a little luck could not adjust temp of the room. These things made it difficult to relax and sleep."

"Thin walls & uncomfortable mattress. I stayed due to an early morning presentation at UW-Platteville to save myself from needing to get up early for travel. After sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress (I think it had a few broken springs) and when people were in the hallway it sounding like they were actually in my hotel room I felt like I would have gotten more sleep at home and getting up early. Also could smell cigarette smoke from people outside through the wall AC unit. 2nd floor is only...

"What an incredible experience at this hotel. Staff was helpful and responsive when we were getting in later at night. The building is old in a charming way and it’s clear that extensive updates have been completed through the years. Street parking out front was easy and we never had trouble finding a spot. Everyone in town was kind."

"Very clean & Comfy"

"I had a really lovely stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, water bottles in the mini refrigerator were super cold and that was nice to have after a long day of riding. Free wifi and a good selection of programs to watch on tv. I am a Veteran and I love that the property is Veteran owned. I intend to come back for a longer stay to explore the area. This was my first trip to Wisconsin but not my last. Thank you very much!"

"Pleasingly large accommodations."

"Great location, friendly and very accommodating staff, comfortable bed, will be staying there on future trips."
