"Amazing stay!"

"It was so rainy the week we stayed at Kaatskill Mountain Club that we were basically confined to our room or the very nice lounge off the lobby. We entertained ourselves with good books, tablets, crosswords, art supplies, etc. The constant rain kept us out of the pool. We tried the steam room and sauna. But they were a little complicate to operate and staff weren't around. Because of the rain, there was a "boil water" warning. So the staff put a water fountain in the lobby. We'd return to the...

"The place was in such disrepair, the cement walkway and top floor patio were crumbling. The weeds everywhere were 2 feet tall. Floors in our room were filthy, kitchen was filthy with food particles on counters and in the refrigerator. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere on the ceiling. No hot water for showers. "Beds were comically hard and actually somehow rocked like a seesaw with the slightest movement. Shower head sprayed all over bathroom like a high powered sprinkler. About 3 mins of hot water. Room smelled musty but appeared clean. Nice location next to brewery restaurant."
