"Being renovated so maybe the cleanliness will improve. Very convenient to the airport. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very dated and grout was stained. Breakfast was limited and the eggs and sausage were luke warm at best."

"For the physically challenged, parking is an issue as the Parkade is a good piece away. Also, because of the surrounding topography, best plan on using your car or taxis. Limited food service with the on site restaurant closed after 2 PM on Sundays, and therefore no washroom access in the lobby area. (Boston Pizza the only food option easily accessible.)"

"Zero a/c in all the public areas. Check in line was a 35+ minute wait. Temperature outside was 38° and even hotter waiting in line to check in. Some staff were fantastic while others, not so much. Clean rooms but lacking in other areas. Can't say I would ever stay with them again."

"Very Disappointing Stay The only positive things I can say about my stay at the Coastal Inn Halifax were that the bed was comfortable and the staff allowed us to check in an hour early. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The room was not clean. The windows were absolutely filthy, to the point that it was one of the first things we noticed. There was no hand soap, and the shampoo bottles attached to the wall were also empty. The lotion dispenser was hanging off the wall and looked...

"The room, although bare bones, was clean. The wifi was spotty - especially on the third floor. The tv kept buffering while we watching it. The complimentary breakfast was simple but it did have something for everyone. On our first day, there was ample parking. On our second day, parking was tight. There is relatively easy access to downtown if you are driving."

"It was a well maintained and clean place to stay but in the middle of a heat wave to casually say sorry we don’t have any more fans and I was on the waitlist is not okay. I think the manager should have either bought more fans or reduced the price. It was borderline health and safety situation. The room was small and would have been suffocating if I didn’t Buy myself a fan that I ordered through the Uber app. I will gladly stay there again as long as it isn’t a heat wave."
