Jago Gili Air

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jago Gili Air and would highly recommend it. The room was gorgeous, comfortable and beautifully presented, but what really made our stay special was the staff. They were genuinely lovely, incredibly welcoming and somehow learned our names almost immediately. They made us feel properly at home throughout our stay. Every morning they prepared us the most beautiful breakfast, which was such a lovely way to start the day. There are also board games available to play in the evening, which is a great touch if you want to bring back some food or snacks and have a relaxed night in. We also appreciated that you could bring your own drinks to enjoy outside. The location is brilliant, with lots of amazing food options nearby, and it’s only around 5–6 minutes from some of the best snorkelling on Gili Air. We saw turtles and some incredible coral reef, so the location was perfect for us. The only area that could be improved is the pool. Unfortunately, it was a little cloudy during our stay and we found ourselves having to ask for the filters to be switched on. If the pool was clearer and the filtration system was running 24/7, with appropriate chlorine levels maintained, this would easily be a 5-star stay for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and the staff really made Jago Gili Air stand out. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Pondok Santi Estate was perfect for our stay on Gili T. The beautiful spacious grounds provided a peaceful and relaxing setting, the villa was sensational and the staff were so beautiful and gracious that we just loved every minute. The in-house restaurant “ijo” was excellent quality with amazing flavours and breakfast on the beach each morning watching turtles swimming past was a great way to start every day. We will never forget the colours of the water and view across to Lombok. We loved the location with easy access to the busy Harbour area and the Sunset point. We will definitely be back to Pondok Santi Estate."

"Stay at the Oberoi is always amazing. The warm staff, the food, etc. We took the airport pick up from the hotel itself. It was seamless, we were offered a wet towel on our arrival, teh driver was very friendly. Even though guy hr we reached early the staff were kind enough to check us in early. The lunches we had at the Sun bird cafe were really yumm. The masala chai and snacks during tea time were also yumm. The property has their own jetty so it was really convenient to go diving and snorkelling. Pijaan, the person who took us diving was really very very professional and warm at the same time. Each night, dinner was special, there was traditional dance one night, Indonesian street food special another, etc etc. Will definitely come back next year :)"

"Wonderful little resort with such kind and helpful staff. Well worth the price especially with breakfast included. The sunset views and atmosphere were great. We wish we stayed longer than two nights especially since it took a while to get to on the public ferry! The only thing to note is that it is about a 30 minute walk from the ferry port so most people use horse and cart to get there."

"This was our third stop in Bali, and we had the best time at this hotel so far on our whole trip. The quality and service are outstanding, everything is very personal, and the attention to detail is 5 stars. Amazing breakfast, clean and beautiful villas, and very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. We're sad to go and will miss Marni, we wish we could have stayed longer here."
