"Beautiful hotel"

"The front desk charged me for two night of overparking when I had a car only for one overnight parking. In addition, as I left the parking lot the machine charged me additional $18.00. The night I reported the one night overnight parking in the front desk, waited for about 25 minutes since frontdesk was unable to link my guess access card to parking. I had to ask my wife and daughter to get off the car and wait in the room. As a result they provided instruction in what to do the next day...

"The bathroom was not the best. Tub was pretty gross. Luckily it was a short stay and we only used it for a quick rinse. A towel had a big black stain on it. The pool area was freezing and pool itself was freezing. But clean it good atmosphere. Towels at the pool were loin cloths so bring your own. The tv was so basic (welcome to 1995). The bedspread had a red stain on it which was a bit gross. And they were horribly uncomfortable. But that’s a personal preference maybe. There are very few...

"Staff was wonderful. So helpful and very nice/professional. Room was quiet and clean. Location is not really Cambridge; it’s more Arlington. So make sure you look at a map before booking if you must be near Cambridge proper (something I didn’t do). If they offer a breakfast option that wasn’t the full buffet, I didn’t see it. But that would’ve been nice."

"There were dead bugs all over the room. Cold, stale, room, whatever the opposite of warm and cozy is, is what the room was. Nothing around the vicinity to see or do. The pillows are very thick and high, like sleeping on a hard cube. The staff seemed inconvenienced to have to check me in."

She neglected to tell us that the back elevator was out, forcing us to have to lug all our luggage up two flights of stairs.
