"This is one of those hotels that people live at. Like it had long term renters. Do not bring a family here. Lots of traffic and people in the parking lot through the night. We had to bring everything in from our vehicle because we were afraid we would be robbed. There are literally stickers on the inside of the door too the room saying that you should padlock the door for your own safety."

However over a month before the trip, I tried to cancel due to an illness/ hospitalization in my extended family. I tried cancelling and getting a refund, and the hotel wouldn’t refund with over a months advance notice. "Good for families because there are lots of free activities on property. Quick walk to the local convenience store- White Duck- and our room at least did not have a TV which was actually nice for the two nights we were there. Had a nice deck overlooking Lake Mich from our room too. The AC units were window units and could have been a little better but it was luckily not super hot out.
