I’d advise against staying in a cottage close to the restaurant in the summer if you are looking for absolute quiet due to the fact some are in immediate proximity to the outdoor dining area. "It’s a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The facilities and the grounds are very nice. The staff was extremely nice. The private beach on the Atlantic side was beautiful and deserted. They put out chairs and umbrellas for us, which was really nice. There were a number of things that were lacking however for a $1500 per night hotel. Our bathroom was very small. "It's a great location to walk into town. I like the convenience of having a nice continental breakfast before heading out for the day. Having beach chairs, towels and an umbrella to to take to the beach was great. We were able to always reach out to find answers to our silly questions and if we got the answering machine she called us back. Our room was on the third floor and not spacious but when in Nantucket the last place you should be spending time is in your room. Would stay here...
