"Very nice place to stay at this historical property. The facility seems to still be in the developmental stages as there are staff shortages and the grounds are not well-kept. I look forward to a finished product! Though pricey, the rooms are outstanding and the room amenities are very good."

"While the place is an old motel the owners have done a great job of updating the inside with high end sink bowls and ceramic showers. The continental breakfast always included biscuits and gravy as well as waffles and other options. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and answer any questions."

"Very clean, and smelled wonderful. Only reason for Four instead of Five is no place to sit in the room, except the bed. There’s room for one. Overall I’d recommend it."

"Beautiful historic hotel. A few updates are needed, but minor. The bathroom, shower, and bathroom itself were beautiful. The restaurant and rooftop bar were on-site and nice as well. The views were beautiful."

"No pillowcases on the bed. Bathroom was dirty, I went to Walmart and bought cleaning products, dirty washcloths were in the hallway and at the bottom entrance of the steps. There was also shooting outside in the parking lot as well as men arguing and tusseling in the parking lot at midnight. Police were called."

"Room 101 beds were clunky, and noisy, making godawful sounds. Bathroom fan is going to burn up a bearing as it makes a horrible screeching noise. You have part of a coffee maker in there but no pot and no coffee. We learned from last time we stayed here to bring our own K cup maker."

"Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend"
