"Enjoyed my stay"

"Room was clean, but smelled very strongly of bleach. Had to have window open. Water didn’t get very warm. And bed was uncomfortable and only had nightstand on one side. The side without only had a few inches to get out of bed."

"An option on Expedia was given to us to pay when arrived on site. It appears that that somehow caused Holiday Inn to not have a confirmation of stay upon arrival. So, after 8.5 hours of straight highway driving, they had to kindly ask us to drive again across the street to stay at Candlewood Suites, their reported sister hotel, and not stay at the Holiday Inn for the night. "This was a nice stay for us. It isn't a 4-star hotel that has coffee or breakfast in the morning, but we weren't expecting it. Our room was clean, the staff (especially Greg) was very helpful with an issue we had with the TV setup. Of several places we have stayed in Sumter in this category, this is the best one for the value we have found and we'll stay there again. "
