"Beautiful surroundings, tucked away on the Lakeside as the name suggests. Nice quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk into the centre (15-20 minutes), but also possible to wave down a tuk tuk once you get to the main road (about 150 SL rupees to the clocktower). The rooms were big and clean. I'm a solo traveller, but was given a room that had two double beds, aircon and a ceiling fan. The shower was hot during the day, more by accident than design. "Excellent and very helpful staff Thank you to the ladies at the front desk. My front view was a little pond where you will hear a chorus of frog ensemble playing their evening symphonies and in the morning beautiful wading birds warming up for the day. "

"On average good place. However it needs some renovation in skme areas including surrounding, landscapes, etc. Outside bathrooms wasn't a fit for us as I had old parents."

"The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."

"Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!"

"A notre arrivée, l'hôtelier nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de réservation à notre nom, qu'il venait de racheter cet hôtel et que pour pouvoir y dormir, il fallait annuler notre réservation auprès d'hotel.com (ce qui était impossible sans perdre les 60 € déjà payés car il nous demandait une annulation pour le jour même) et qu'ensuite, il fallait le payer en espèces le prix de la chambre (environ 45 €). Sans moyen de contacter Hotel.com car 4h du matin en France, nous avons préféré quitter cet...

"Pas de chambre prête à notre arrivée, très sale, sans eau chaude, sans toilette et sans clim le 1er jour, le 2ème jour changement de chambre mais toujours pas d'eau chaude, cafard dans la chambre, chambre hyper humide avec une odeur hyper désagréable. Lavabo qui fuit, abattement de wc cassé, peinture piquée d'humidité. J'ai des photos qui prouvent mes dires. "
