"We had a very pleasant stay at the Appalachian Hotel at Mountain Creek. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was also very clean, well maintained, and safe for children. There are two hot tubs next to the pool, as well as a sauna, which made the stay even more relaxing. Parking is free for hotel guests, which was very convenient. The only downside is that the nearby restaurants close quite early, and there are very limited late-night dinner options either inside the hotel or in...

"The room was clean but the bathroom wasn't. There was hair in the bathtub and the showerhead didn't work - only the handheld one did. And there was a moldy smell in the bathroom. The room itself could use some freshening up, but it was clean with an "old" feel to it. Staff was very nice and there was ample parking. Room size was also good."

"This charming little motel is in a very convenient location and is extremely well maintained. Rates are reasonable, the room was spotless and the amenities were way beyond what I had a right to expect. I arrived very late in the evening and Melanie made it easy to check in quickly and was very kind and helpful. The property surrounding the motel is very pretty, too! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property."
