"Our room was very clean and gardens well maintained. The outside of the motel and parking is looking very old and could do with a facelift. It was nice and quiet where our room was located."

"We loved the room layout and provided amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was great. The only problem was the lack of sound proofing meaning the noisy crowds on Hindley Street and the noisy people coming in late at night and even people in the next room could be plainly heard."

"Convenient location. The shower is over the bath and there was visible mould so the tiles need re-grouting / fresh silicone. The restaurant was closed the night we were there, I was unwell so ordered room service as not up to going out. On ordering it said 30mins but was more like 45mins and we ended up leaving it after a few bites as it was like warm at best. I tried to prebook the $20 parking but no one responded so had to pay $30 at the overflow parking. The bed was comfy."

"Been to this hotel a number of times, it now feels it needs ‘something’ to set it apart from its contemporaries in the same area. Paying extra for a corner room, we found the bathroom was less lux than most other bathrooms in similar properties, no bath, under pressured small standard shower etc. the staff remain awesome, as does the bar but In a saturated Adelaide market, with new hotels planned, despite being a recent addition, the Crowne must adapt & make changes or it will be less favoured."

"A great location. The ocean view apartment we arrived to had a slight smell, perhaps food related. The night manager was helpful in bringing products to spray and remove the odour. Shower is the old fashioned step-over-bath wall type… not ideal for many adults I should think."
