"On arrival at the property we were very dissapointed that it was not as advertised a beach front property (about a 300 metre walk down a busy road).
When shown to our room we were walked down what I can only describe as a very smelly corridor. Fortunately it could be avoided by using an alternative lift further down the hotel ground floor.
The room was very clean, no issues at all, the view was fair, into an inner garden courtyard.

"For us, the hotel is one of the most important aspects of a holiday - and a massive part of that is the staff. They are integral to every aspect, and every member of staff we interacted with over 6 days were exemplary. From pre-holiday interactions with Sandro the concierge, check-in, housekeeping, beech/pool staff for towels, food and drinks and most of all, everyone in the exec lounge. "The first thing I will say is that the staff are WONDERFUL! They went out of their way to be helpful. My wife tripped in Mdina and hurt her knee badly (no bones broken!) when we got back to the hotel, she was limping badly, and the staff made an ice bag to help the swelling and booked a taxi so we could get to the hospital to have it checked.
The next day all those involved asked how she was doing whenever they saw her, and offered to get more ice or anything she needed. Thank you, Guys!
