"Checked in, was not shown how to get to room, last room of the 3 buildings, construction cranes outside the windows. Elderly mother couldn't walk around there, roaches in room, no cold water, shower falling apart, nothing like the photos or the room I reserved. Remotes did not work. Was told to go to maintenance for batteries.. never found them. Carpets so dirty, your feet were black .
They refused to move us unless we paid for an upgrade
After 3 days of arguing with them, we had too check...

"The hotel is a lot less maintained than the photos make it look, there’s no housekeeping, the hallways/elevators reek. Parking was obnoxious, lots of obnoxious noise/loitering right outside the hotel. Noise inside the hotel. Hot tub was out of service. Pool was dirty.
Only good thing was the view of the ocean and easy access to the beach."

"This was my first visit to Myrtle Beach, and the Breakers Resort was the perfect stay for me and my cousin. We arrived in SC much earlier than our check-in time, around noon. We were very surprised that when we came to drop off our bags we were able to also get our room! This was around 1pm,(This is NOT guaranteed) and made the transition very easy for us. The hotel was clean, the views were immaculate, and the amenities were just what we were looking for. With multiple pools, and multiple beach...

"The first room we were put in had broken AC. They knew and still put me in it. Then did Not wanna refund saying I didn't report it. I didn't need to they had a repair men coming in while I'm in there. Finally got a new room 2nd day in and a small refund last day. It took a lot of time from my mother daughter trip and ruined our vacation. The ocean access and pool area were awesome though. If your short and young looking be prepared to be asked your age for the hot tub."
