"Our room was not in the main building. We had to walk up and down steps. I felt I was in a basement. Property definitely needs updating. I was traveling throughout Africa, so I am comparing to other countries such Angola and Ghana."

"What I like: (1) We had an ocean view. (2) The staff was friendly and helpful.
What I didn't like: (1) Airport shuttle price was high for such a short trip, (2) Buffet meal price was high for the quality of food. (3) Beach area could be cleaner.
What can be improved: The meals - (1) Overcooked meats. (2) Undercooked eggs. (3) Stale breads. (4) Unwarranted high price."

The location is perfect if you want to stay right downtown to visit iconic places like the Catedral Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Sé Catedral de Maputo), Conselho Municipal, Casa de Ferro, Rádio Moçambique, etc.It is definitely not a luxury place, but it is a cozy, highly affordable, and secure spot to sleep.
