"This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas. I did not try the water activities as it was out of season/quite cold in June.

"The highlight to me was the staff - attentive, accommodating, friendly and enthusiastically helpful, despite my lack of fluency in Portuguese. and varying degrees of fluency in English on their part.
I found the 4x4 trip to the resort more heartbreaking than bone-jarring. The indigant people live off very little. I was wondering if a boat transfer from Pemba would be possible?

"This was the perfect way to start our honeymoon island hopping in Mozambique. The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and happy.
