"My family and I stayed at Rajarata Hotel for two nights, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel is easy to locate, and the directions provided by Google Maps are accurate, making arrival smooth and hassle-free. The true highlight of the hotel is its exceptional staff. They are warm, courteous, genuinely welcoming, and remarkably attentive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. The dining area is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, creating an inviting atmosphere. There are also plenty of well-maintained common areas where guests can relax and unwind. The food is excellent, particularly if you are looking to experience authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The generous selection of traditional Sri Lankan dishes is both flavorful and well prepared, making every meal a delight. Overall, Rajarata Hotel provides a comfortable stay, outstanding hospitality, and excellent dining, making it a wonderful choice for families visiting Anuradhapura."

"Our family (4 adults and 2 children) stayed for 1 night (July 2026). Everything is excellent and in future, we will chose this place without hesitation. Hosts Sulochana and Mathavan are professional, courteous and extremely friendly. Property is very close to Anuradhapura attractions. Amenities are very good and the location is very safe."

"The Ivy Lake is a rare find in Sri Lanka, being modern & so well maintained as it only four rooms. The brother & sister who manage the property are in touch with technology making them very helpful for what's going on in Anuradhapura & helping with things to do in the area. The garden is so beautiful making the property feel tropical & peaceful in a very busy city. The Ivy Lake is very central to the Old Town, the lake, bus station & the train station, perfect to be walkable to everything. The room is very convenient with a rare refrigerator, great shower & comfy bed, everything a traveller needs. There is a superb coffee shop that the youngsters have with all meals available. Well done Ivy Lake, we highly recommend you to all visitors to Anuradhapura."

"Ceylon Resort was an absolute pleasure to stay at! The gift that kept giving, the staff, the food, the location. The hotel. Would 100% recommend for all, the staff helped us with safari organisation, providing dinner as well as breakfast. An absolutely safe environment for all walks of life, even helped us fixed out tuktuk!!!! Would highly recommend to all, and couldn’t recommend more."

"I stayed only one night but wished I stayed an extra one. The staff were so accommodating and extremely friendly. I really loved the afternoon walk around the village where I saw my first elephant of my Sri Lankan trip and evening walk around the gardens looking at the nocturnal animals. I would highly recommend staying here!!"
