"We arrived at the Lodge on the Desert and checked in. Reception was not friendly or welcoming, somewhat robotic. We reserved a Standard Casita King, an upgraded room with high ceilings and wooden beams, a fireplace, couch and sitting area, and a nice bathroom with talavera style tiles. That is not what we were given. Room 137 was standard, basic, with very worn carpeting, a small bathroom with a tub/shower combo. El precio muy bueno comparado con la categoría del hotel. Que no me gustó, que tuve que esperar media hora después de la hora del check-in porque no estaba lista y sin inspeccionar."

"Bed is uncomfortable and low. Only window a/c units, which aren't great. Funny smell around the place. Breakfast was for a vegan or worse. Unkempt pool area. Didn't even finish the crappy coffee. Skip this place entirely. Much better accomodations are available."

"I wrote a review elsewhere, here it is for my Expedia review: Here now & checked in for the first date night we’ve had in a while & it’s ridiculous. If you’re not already a priority member then go somewhere else. We won’t be back. It’s our first date night in a while so the casino seemed like a nice all in one idea. We waited 45 minutes in line for the buffet to finally walk away & go to quick service since we aren’t priority so they kept taking the priority line. Literally 17 people/families...

"My husband and I had a 3 night stay. Check-in was not very informative. We were not told the hotel offered free breakfast or complementary coffee in the lobby. We were told the next day by a different receptionist. The pool was nice the first 2 days. By Sunday it was dirty and you could not see the bottom. "I do not recommend this place especially if you have kids. I’ve never felt so stuck before. This was my first time traveling with my kids and I paid in advance with no refunds offered. I spent $600 for a place that was dirty, smelled and had no air to our room. The first room we got upon arriving was on the first floor and the bedding was damp and the room smelled like sitting water. Completely outdated. We got moved right away to the third floor.
