Cari Hotel di Pococí

"The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "

"Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point."

"If you’re here for the turtles, this is THE place. We were able to see little ones right on the beach! However, did not care for the food or room very much. Pamphlets would have been useful for the lodge, so we could better explore the grounds and surrounding area. There is no concierge and it takes them a bit long to respond to your questions via WhatsApp."

"This property is VERY unique!! It is quite an experience, even just to stay a night, but I would recommend at least 2-3 nights minimum to explore the options they have available. I picked this as a sort of halfway point to stay 1 night between SJO & Puerto Viejo, on the Caribbean coast. But it was a phenomenal experience & we wished we had booked at least 1 more night, if not more. The cabins are very secluded, but well maintained. The grounds are extensive and amazing!! The staff are...

"Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever"

"We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping! Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning. The walking trail on the property is really run down & full of...

"The staff at this hotel are nothing short of incredible. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. We did all the tours with their partner Tuanis Tours and found the guides knowledgeable and fun. All the tours went on a little longer because the guides were determined to make sure we saw all animals possible. They even made the tours enjoyable the few times we got caught in the rain. The hotel was also super accommodating and helpful when a storm...

"Fabulous stay at Miss Junie’s Stayed there a full week Room was spacious with comfortable bed and bedding Large shower with hot water a bonus Housekeeping was well done Veranda was lovely to sit on during evening Property is large with good sized pool Location at north end of town so less noisy than in town. Daily breakfast was plentiful and delicious Staff were the best part of stay - assistance with arranging excursions. Victor was always there with a smile. We would absolutely return"

"Excelente hotel"

"9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!"

"Great."

"The nature of this place is absolutely amazing. Also, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable."

"Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us"

"Beautiful and rustic surroundings. Staff was excellent."

"Ok for 1 night on way to Caribbean side."
