"The location and staff were the best. The complimentary breakfast was good also. My only complaint was how tiny the room was (even by European standards) and how the split ac unit was above the door and very brightly displayed the temperature. Otherwise great hotel on the square!"

"It is a great hotel, centrally located for trams, city central square and jewish quarter in easy walking distance. The hotel lovely and clean and housekeeping was very good. Staff very helpful. polite and always with a smile and a greeting. The buffet breakfast was excellent worth the money and the restuarant was very good. "Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und so kann man zu Fuss sehr gut alles erkunden. Es wurde in zwei Etappen 2015 und 2017 erbaut und ist dementsprechend auf einem sehr guten Stand. Ich hatte ein Classic-Zimmer das nicht allzu gross war, aber es war sehr schön eingerichtet und hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut ausreichend. Kurz, wenn ich wieder einmal nach Gdansk reise, werde ich gerne wieder im PURO logieren."

"This is not a full-scale hotel with a full set of amenities—it is fairly basic in its setup. However, the rooms were remarkably clean, quiet, and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable.
As for the location, it is ideal. Situated right in the heart of the historic center, virtually everything was within a 15-minute walk.
One practical note: be cautious when entering and exiting the hotel, as the tram runs directly past the front entrance. That said, street noise was never an issue—we...

"Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, we also ate in the restaurant one evening which has a great menu and good quality food. The hotel is situated very close to the main station and is within less than 10 minutes walk to the main square in the old town. I would highly recommend staying at the Vienna House."
