"The location of the hotel is beautiful, right in the middle of downtown with easy parking around the property and lots of restaurants and bars around the place. The restaurant features glass floor with Roman archeological exhibition underneath. In the room's bathroom there's a strong smell of city sewer rising from the pipes. The room itself smells of strong cleaning chemicals that may cause allergies for sensitive clients. Otherwise, the property is all new, modern, and well maintained."

"The good: the hotel is very clean, very well maintained, offers a great pool and even greater views of the Ionian sea. Staff are extraordinarily nice, helpful, and intent on making sure you have a pleasant stay. The atmosphere is extremely laid back and relaxing. The not-so-good: contrary to what is advertised, there is neither a gym (not at the hotel, not nearby) nor a shuttle.
