"Great views from restaurant and bar; great sunrise/sunset spots; nice pool area; really nice streams everywhere; breakfast nice but some more vegetarian options would be nice; coffee and plate clear up at breakfast should be improved; arrival and check-in could be more welcoming; bird watching promoted but no official guide available; bird species booklets expensive; trekking guide spoke no english and was not helpful at all for the price"

"Fine room, nice view, terrible internet (connection virtually useless). On the other hand A/C which began so slowly I thought it wasn’t working, turned out to be quite powerful. Restaurant for dinner though was a joke - not even a menu to be had. Nothing seems to operate without the woman in charge around. Same for breakfast. Had been asked when I wanted included breakfast, at 6:40 or 7. I opted clearly for 6:40 as needed to leave guesthouse by 7:30 in order to catch 8 a.m. boat departure....
