"The room was perfect for an adult and two teenagers, lovely spacious and clean, everything you need for a few days. The staff were all very helpful and kind, will definitely be staying again"

"Our room did not get the bed made, the towels refreshed. And the soap dispenser above the bath was empty, it didn’t even have a refill bag.
The hotel is very dated and tatty.
The reception is unwelcoming , too few seats, and few staff
When I phoned reception , I should have been told the cleaners to make beds etc. only come in on the third day
We stayed 2 nights.now renamed THE WORST WESTERN."

"Had a truly lovely stay at the Trevelyan in Douglas - received a lovely welcome from Delia upon arrival; had a promenade / beachfront view from my 3rd floor room. Comfortable bed. No problems at all with the shared bathroom facilities either. What I would suggest though, is for basic tea/coffee facilities being provided to guests - either directly in their rooms, or at a central location (for example, in the common area on the ground floor). Thank very much once again !"
