"Very helpful & polite staff. hotel was lovely although there were a lot of rubbish bags outside the entrance when we arrived & still there the next day. Our room was to the front of the hotel and on a Friday night the nightclub opposite is very noisy."

We were told when we arrived that the swimming pool etc was extra, which is something we had never experienced in a hotel. However, the staff allowed us a complementary pass. "Did not like that our room on the third floor after getting off the lift required humping bags down two albeit short flights of stairs. Liked that there were lots of towels and that they let us drop our luggage until check in and again after noon check out (very civilized) It's a great location right next to Cardiff Central station so getting here and then getting to the airport was simple"

"The location is great because it is within the city centre. Unfortunately the room was hot because it’s summer and there is no air conditioning. Also, the walls I think are thin because we can hear the conversations in the other room. Nonetheless, Fair enough given the price and location."

"Parking not included, have to book and pay using Just Park (limited spaces). Only the gym appears to be free, the pool and spa need to be paid for. Queen room was large with a nice deep bath. The room felt a little tired; minor holes in curtains, carpet not in the best condition, bath robes rough on the skin. Only 3 coffee pods in a room for 2 people which was a bit odd. I was staying alone so it was okay for me. Additional instant coffee on a tray in the cupboard. Toilet roll thin and poor...

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, very central location, can be very noisy in rooms from street activities. Sadly the rooms need updating, mould in the bathroom, bed and pillows uncomfortable, carpark recommended by hotel was disgusting, unable to use lifts as the smell of urine was overpowering. No drop off zone in front or near hotel entrance"

"Very good stay close enough to Cardiff for our needs. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pub was lovely for a last couple of drinks after a day out. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was good with quality produce."
