"It was a beautiful property and so close to Graceland. Bobbie the bartender was the best."

"The staff was less than concerned when my deadbolt wouldn’t work or that I had to use my shoulder to force open the door after unlocking to get in. The ceiling is so high and with small cheap furnishings, it echoes horribly. The air conditioning needs attention if it has to be set to 65° to come on. There is peeling paint (or someone peeled) paint off the bathroom wall. Breakfast was same old same old thing."

"Easy to get to, parking is available and free. Breakfast was good. Room was larger than expected...loved the space. Older hotel but was perfect for a quick overnight stay while traveling."

"We liked the hotel overall. The room was comfortable, the breakfast quite good, but the drain in the bathtub was clogged making it very hard to take a shower. That’s why taking one star off."

"We had a few minor maintenance issues that the staff responded to and resolved immediately. The hotel is located about 0.4 miles from Beale Street but only couple of blocks from the AAA Memphis Redbirds minor league ballpark. We enjoy walking to and from those tourist attractions rather than driving and paying for parking.,. even though it was 100 degrees the weekend we stayed there. Plus - The hotel has free parking, Almost all other hotels near Beale Street are valet/pay parking. Good typical...
