"A decent, affordable hotel in a convenient location to I-95. Older facility, some run-down aspects of furniture, tub, etc. Bed was comfortable. Parking was an issue. I had to park in a handicapped space in an old motel parking lot next door. Didn't like the side hotel door propped open with a big rock so I removed it."

"Check-in was after 1:00 pm. We arrrived at 4:10 pm and had asked for a 1st floor room as I’m disabled. I was told 1st our room was NOT ready. Please wait. I said I’d take any room on 1st fl. We’ve just driven 9 hrs. After 15 minutes he returns. Hand me a key packet. That was it. I had to ASK where our room was, where the amenities were etc..you get the gist. Got to our room. Opened the door and it’s Mr impressed at all. The room seemed to NOT look like the photos on the website. THEY were...

"My best friend and I had a girls weekend in Fredericksburg and stayed at The Publisher. Wow. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel, right downtown so everything is walkable, the staff were amazing, beds were comfy, shower was wonderful. It was really such a great experience. I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg."

"Upon arrival, there were coffee cups throughout the parking lot that people had chucked. The breakfast is as basic as it gets. The hotel air-conditioning is intermittent so you freeze and then drench in your own sweat. However, housekeeping, knocking at my door at 11 AM sharp inviting me to leave…as I was coming up the second trip to loading up my car to leave is the opposite of hospitality. It’s giving GTFO - Won’t be back"

"they charge you for parking three dollars per night to park your car in the parking lot. There’s no complementary waters. they charged you six dollars for one bottle of water."
