"So the Harper was clean and pretty and luxuriously outfitted. An A-Class facility. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have a private car for trips to the airport that is very affordable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, a huge variety of local and foreign choices that will appeal to anyone staying there.
However, when you've been traveling 30+ hours through 3 major airports, all you want when you finally get to your hotel is a HOT bath and a soft bed. The room was clean and cool, the bathroom adequate and the bed soft and cozy...but the shower was only COLD. I let the water run for minutes and it never warmed up, not even luke warm. What a huge disappointment. I didn't complain, I just took a cold shower and went to bed. "A" for effort Harper-Perintis but you missed the mark. If I ever get back through Makassar, I'll try somewhere else."
