"We have just returned from a two week stay at this little paradise and can honestly say we loved every second. The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. "We had a calm and pleasant stay at Amara Villa. The rooms and the whole Villa are very clean and good furnitured. Also the stuff is very friendly and they a happy to help you with any questions. Beach is only five minutes walking distance away. You can also easily take the bus from the main street e.g.to Galle."

"My friend and I stayed here for four nights.
The guest house is nice, clean and meets needs all the basic needs. No extravagant luxury, however what makes this place truly amazing is:
- We were welcomed by the friendly hosts and had the feeling of being their private guests in their own home. Airport pick up was pre-arranged by email and we was met at the arrival by our driver, absolutely trouble-free (USD 68/ 3 hrs)

"The stay here was great. Host very gracious. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator,dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans.
WiFi worked well.
Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent.
He also provided us with some great meals.
This is not high end, but my brother and I loved it. Would recommend to anyone wanting nice,...
