"The Inn was quiet, well kept, and comfortable. The only real restaurant in town belongs to the Inn. Expensive. Service decent. Food unimaginative. There is a small deli. Offerings are limited and a bit pricey. One bar in town. That’s it. No drugstore, grocery store, or any other mercantile establishments. Union Springs is 8 miles up the road. There is a spa (expensive). All in all, a quiet retreat for a few days for an older crowd."

On the negative side, however, the restaurant was not open for some reason on our first night, and the bar was not open for all of the advertised hours. Also the pool was closed for maintenance for our first night"
