"The room was clean and the breakfast was above average for the class of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit tight in the lot and the area around the hotel is a bit desolate at night. I felt perfectly safe but was not traveling by myself. Shower in the room was great."

The staff was very stoic, borderline standoffish, and unwelcoming and unfriendly. Their attempt to be nice or friendly comes off very fake. They were very matter-of-fact and not very flexible."

"Only one elevator was working. With the building being 9 floors, it became a hassle waiting to use the elevator. Thankfully my room was on a fairly lower level and I was able to access the stairwell. Amenities were so-so. Towels were threadbare. Valet was nice. Checking in could have been a little more receptive. However checking out, the woman at the counter was more interested in playing on her phone. "I went into this having read the reviews, so I didn’t expect much. I was actually surprised with how clean the room appeared. It smelled strongly of some sort of perfumed cleaner. No bed bugs or visible bugs. Day 1 was fine. It’s not a nice, nice place but good for a quick stay while passing through. This does appear to be the kind of hotel that people live at or, maybe DSS helps pay for their stays? Grilling in the parking lot looked like fun but led me to believe our parking lot neighbors were...

"Check-in/checkout was easy. Staff were pleasant. The Airport Shuttle was convenient for airport arrival and departure. It was also available to take us to a nearby dinner restaurant and after a phone call, they retrieved us promptly. The shuttle drivers were knowledgeable about the areas and made us feel at ease, especially our 4:30 a.m. airport arrival. Room was adequate and quick, especially that it sits in a more woody area then the Hilton Spring Garden Hotel."
