"The property was very clean and the staff very kind! However, the pictures are very deceiving. It felt like we were staying at a nicer motel, not a boutique hotel. They also charge you extra when you get there. It says in the fine print but I have never experienced that before when booking through expedia. Overall, I think there are much better hotels in the catskills to book instead."

"This property needs a serious updating. Sink and shower handles are terrible. Our bed in a single room, at a rate significantly higher rate than the limited block for the wedding party, was a Murphy bed! No nightstands, full size. Gym area was poorly ventilated and the only way to get to the pool. No towels in the gym for guests. Coffee in the morning was poor and there were no healthy choices; like yogurts, available for purchase on the property. Soaps and shampoo, etc in rooms is nice...

"The place is charming. The rooms are clean and spacious. The management is extremely helpful. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to keep my windows closed all night bc of the loud trains coming in at all hours, right behind the hotel. We were provided with ear plugs but still."

"This is NOT a spa & resort! The spa is a mile away! It’s a hotel with an external restaurant. The only positive is the view of the falls on the Esopus river. At best, it’s a wedding venue with a continental breakfast on par with a cheap motel. You also can’t use the balconies, because of an infestation of the spotted lantern bugs."
