"The property was clearly undergoing a transformation and only partly ready for the public. However the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was very good. Some nice touches make the stay a step above the ordinary. "

"I had a wonderful nights stay in a king size bed in an extremely quiet farm away from normal life. There was a good view of the splendid fireworks from the Summer ball down in Tavistock that night, then waking up to a lovely cooked breakfast. The couple were very helpful throughout and I will book again. Don't expect modern day living just homely comfort and a great view of the countryside on a working farm."

The place was spotless and comfortable, and we had no problems at all during our stay. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed — nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Thanks to her warm hospitality and the great facilities, we would definitely come back again."
