"The staff at Ingenia South West Rocks are very pleasant friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom Accessible Cabin with our adult son who is in a wheelchair for three nights. The complex is situated in a beautiful area and is very well maintained.
The facilities were among some of the best we have experienced.
Travelling with a disabled person particularly wheelchair dependent certainly has its challenges. For instance our son requires 2 carers,one each side of the bed. We found this almost impossible with the width of the Queen size bed as well as the height. (We only discovered the set of raisers in the wardrobe on the day we were leaving to return home.) some properties have adjustable beds which are very valuable in these situations.
The features suit and can be used by anybody disabled,frail or perfectly able.
The bathroom was well laid out and met our needs and we were appreciative of that.
However it concerned us that the bathroom floor remained very wet all the time and didn’t seem to drain off at all.
Maybe this could be checked on to uncover the problem which could result in a somebody sustaining a nasty fall."
