"The staff were lovely and housekeeper very friendly. The room itself was lovely and very clean with access to a large balcony with a beautiful view. However, the hotel room bathroom is so old and needs renovating which let the room down. I believe the room rate is too high due to the old and outdated bathroom."

"To say I was disappointed to pay top price for 3 nights accomodation only to have my family and I kept awake all Saturday and part Sunday night by a DJ who I’m assuming was associated with the hotel in a venue below. We were on level 9 and the music was ridiculously loud, I don’t recommend families stay or do proper research before booking on a weekend. Also, we booked as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) with “breakfast included” only to be told that it covered 1 adult and had to pay an additional $40 for my husband to eat. When checking out, I wasn’t surprised that no-one at reception asked me how was our stay."

The Imperial Motel

10/10 Excellent

"We visit bowral roughly every couple of months and this is our favourite place to stay. Always clean, spacious rooms with streaming tv, water pressure is amazing and we never need to use our car because it’s near the Main Street. Even though it’s pub accommodation it is detached with a parking lot between so I’ve never really been bothered with the noise of patrons. Bonus is checking is a 12pm and our room has always been ready. Beds are very comfortable and pub food is great."

"Great bedding and bathroom, esp shower- best i have ever had. However we were expecting 2 bedrooms plus a living/eating area with a table Instead of a ledge. Instead we had to walk through our son’s room to get to ours. So not a 2br suite. We’ll read the specs more carefully in future. A mirror in the main bedroom would also be useful."
