"The motel is well appointed and maintained. Heating in the room and bathroom worked well, which is important in Clare in the colder months. As the property is on the edge of town I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of kangaroos on the extensive grounds when I checked in late in the afternoon."

"Awesome. Traditional pub stay. Room was spartan but very comfortable. Excellent meal in the evening and drinks at 1970s prices. And cost was half of what I paid up the Track to stay in a ‘donga’.
