Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. "This is a very nice Ski apartment for the price. The staff was very helpful and made a number of suggestions on activities in the area and places to eat. While the unit itself is older, it is still very well laid out. The location is easy to get into town. Parking in the summertime was doable but in the winter, without a four-wheel-drive, on the very steep hill could be difficult."

"Whilst they had strict rules for cleaning up, spare garbage bags and a sink to wash your eating materials in rather than the bathroom sink - and a tea towel would be nice. They don't want stains on their towels but don't provide a tea towel or a bath mat. Other than that it was absolutely gorgeous, loved it and cosy."
