"Taj hotel is very close to my memories of yesteryears. Love the property, staff and amenities. Still has the charm but the room facing city view was impacted by heavy construction work sounds till 11pm. It was very annoying, just what’s happening all over Mumbai- construction everywhere! Not the hotel problem but the exterior is unmanageable."

"The location is convenient, easy to get to everywhere. The train and metro stations are right there. A block away from marine drive. Some noise at night. The pillows are very uncomfortable, very bouncy, I hurtled my neck one night, and had to sleep on decorative pillows.the breakfast is good, you can order freshly made dosa, with potato, cheese or honey."

"Overall great hotel
Food needs help especially club floor. If I am paying for club floor perks we’re ok. Loved laundry service. Spa was ok. Food at club lounge was bad. But overall loved my stay. We often stay here when we r in Bombay."

"We stayed here one night on arrival in India and our last night before flying home.
The hotel is stunningly beautiful. The rooms are immaculate and every little thing seems to have been thought of, such as curtains that close when you leave the room and small lights that come on when you go in the bathroom and a walk in wardrobe.
The staff are absolutely amazing and seem to genuinely want you to have the best possible stay that you can.
The breakfast buffet and dinner were one of the best...

"We had the best stay here- we regretted not staying for longer. We arrived 8.30am and Ammar at reception gave us an early check-in free of charge which was the best start for our mini moon. The complimentary treats were wonderful and made us feel at home. The Spa treatment was one of the best ever had - we had the best sleep ever after a long flight.
The breakfast was phenomenal - especially the ghee roast dosa and vada, sambar and chutneys. We wish we could have stayed for longer."
