"I absolutely loved my stay at Mandara and I will be back soon for sure. The staff were very friendly and special thanks to the Priyankara and bar staff, Lalit, Sampath and the pool staff and the lady who checked me in at the reception. Apart from that everything else is in terrible.. the rooms especially bathrooms are in the bad shape.. first day we checked in there was issue with power and one room dint have power the whole night.. the property has potential but its badly managed.. giving 2 stars only for the helpful staff..else would be a 1 star"

"The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency."
