"I loved the staff honestly they were super friendly with my daughter and me… My daughter was very comfortable with davinda. She became good friends with the surf instructor Kyle and loved the surfing experience she had with him making it one of the most wonderful experiences she had … The chef was extraordinary there making sure I tried authentic Sri Lankan food … Over all I’m definitely visiting them again when coming to Sri Lanka … The resort was out of this world honestly…"

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. "Property has everyone a guest would want to spend their holiday with the biggest highlight being the pool with an amazing view to the Lion’s Rock. Location is a short drive to everything but you need to have a driver or take taxis to get around to anywhere including landmarks, restaurants (especially if hotel restaurants are closed), & cafes. "Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

"Thaala Bentota is an excellent place to relax during a vacation. Awesome location and amazing food. The rooms and fittings inside the room are a bit worn out and may need replacement to enhance the visitors' experience."

"Trevlig och hjälpsam personal och god frukost! Men extremt lyhört och svårt att få upp värmen i rummet. "
