The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped arrange all of our rides for us. The food was really good as well, our dinner there was one of the best meals we had our whole trip. The infinity pool offers nice views and and the hotel area is small. The food was excellent. The chef was very helpful in finding gluten free options and the food was delicious. "At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

The food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was such high quality and some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so stunning and clean, and have everything you need. The service is also incredible from the moment you get there to the moment you leave. Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! "
