"Just got back from a stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Hagerstown, MD, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. The staff was beyond great. Returned to have our keys unable to open the door, went to the lobby they rescanned my room key to try again. Nothing...so they try the master fob key, nothing. We had to sit outside our room for an hour while they REPLACE THE AA BATTERIES that work the doors. But still nothing. "I have stayed here twice a year for the last 6 years and had been happy enough with the convenience, the safety and the spacious rooms. They have always been a bit outdated and that never bothered me, they were clean enough, quiet and affordable . But sadly this would be my last stay there for a multiple of reasons. A safe with no door, air conditioning that was faulty (moved rooms), water stains, carpet stains, wall damage. (Previous visit had ants, missing closet door and wet floor around ac)...
