"A lovely stay at the Charm Hotel. Very friendly receptionists who were more than happy to help with parking, bags, and any other issues. The room was big, comfy, and very clean. Could have done with two bottles of water in the room rather than one maybe, but I’m nit picking!! We would definitely come back when visiting Brighton, the location is brilliant and a short walk from all the best bits! Thank you for a great stay"

"We needed an overnight stop near Lewes, this being a mile or so north. Though on a main road (A275) it is a quiet, unpretentious and old country pub between a couple of other houses (one a former smithy) with convenient parking and an outside sitting/eating area behind, as well as 'bistro' style eating in the large downstairs bar, with a good selection of beers etc. The room and bathroom were simple and spotless,with fine quality towels and bed linen. "The owners were able to let us in early. They provided information that we asked for. The room was spacious and very clean, with an enormous bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, enabling us to have a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was simple, but very good. If we are in this area again we will certainly book into The Cottage again."
