1. Chalet Edelweiss Stunning Glacier View

Ormont-Dessus

"Superbe chalet, parfaitement équipé, relativement bien situé si on a une voiture. Par contre, un code est nécessaire à l’arrivée pour récupérer les clés (self checkin/out) et personne ne nous l’avait fourni: fort heureusement des voisins ont pu nous aider! Passé le stress de l’arrivée, ce fut une belle expérience en famille avec une météo incroyable et un visiteur original: un renard manifestement pas très sauvage!"

Top Aigle District Hotel Reviews

Hotel le Grand Chalet

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is a real Swiss chalet high on the mountain side. Amazing view clean comfortable beds with duvets. Excellent buffet breakfast, live music Thursday nights. Full bar and restaurant. All locally sourced food really tasty. Excellent place. Highly recommend it."

Villars Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was was bigger than expected and had a balcony with stunning views of distant mountains. Our son loved his bunk bed with integrated light and USB charger. There was a separate toilet and shower room but no bath. We also missed tea and coffee making facilties though were able to borrow an iron. The lodge was in a great location for our summer exploring and we look forward to returning one day."

Hôtel du Quai

8/10 Good

"The hotel makes for a decent budget option. The rooms are a bit small but with the bunk bed so sleep four. If you have more than two large pieces of luggage space will be tight. The beds and pillows were on the hard side for our personal tastes but we sleept ok. It was rather warm during our stay, over 27 degrees C. We kept the windows open and, while the staff provided a fan, it was still warmer than we were comfortable with. Four bodies in that room generated quite a bit of heat. If you're on a budget and need to be close to the lake and/or town, this is not a bad option."
