"We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!"

"Upon the time to check in front desk clerk was very racist and rude while he was rushing and making jokes he gave us the wrong room had to go back and get a different one didn’t give me a pool towel when I asked for it I had to check out a day early because he didn’t put in the right days wasn’t given another bath towel when I put the dirty ones outside the room."

"Beautiful scenery, to include a fawn visit during a birthday celebration. We walked, five minutes, to the Main Street. Spacious bathrooms. Ideal breakfast outside with nature. Perfect lounging spot."

"The beds really weren’t that comfortable and the fire alarm started going off at 8am when a kid pulled the alarm and the staff couldn’t figure out how to get it shut off right according to The front desk. The shower head leaked bad causing horrible water pressure"

"Needs lots of upgrading. Exterior is in bad shape. Balcony wood looks rotted and dangerous. 20” TV Room was clean and staff was nice."

"Property is historic which is cool, and the room nice with comfortable beds. However, the room was 80 degrees, and we had to mess with the air conditioner several times for it to remain on and work. Also, there was no soap to wash our hands at the bathroom sink - irritating issues after driving 13 hours."
