"The room cleaning schedule seemed inconsistent. I expected we’d get new water bottles daily but in our case this was not so."

"This is a wonderful, big, historic hotel. The rooms are quite large by any standard, however furnishings were stark and modern. Bathrooms are big and wonderful. A large tub was included. The breakfast is delicious. One annoying issue emerged during breakfast. A drone flew around the breakfast buffet and adjacent front lobby multiple times making a loud and disruptive hissing noise. Staff could not tell us exactly what the drone was used for. We complained and staff told their manager and it was stopped. Really, a 5 star hotel should be concerned about maintaining a 5 star ambiance in its public spaces at all times. This was a very odd and disconcerting experience. I give credit to the staff for resolving the issue. No further drone activity was spotted during the remainder of our stay."

"The lady at the reception., Pilar was super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing; everything at walking distance, the grand cathedral was a 10-15 min walk. The property was clean, air conditioning worked well even on super hot days. We had a minor problem with the shower drain, they tried to fix it but it didn’t really help. And they didn’t change the room. There was complimentary coffee after 3:00 PM which was nice. Overall, a pleasant two night stay!"

"The staff were so friendly and helpful with any request, they really made the stay enjoyable. The pool was small but we often had it to ourselves so that was no issue, it was much needed in the summer sun and had absolutely sensational views of the entirety of Granada, including the Alhambra, which we felt very lucky about. The room itself was very spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities, but it would have been nice to have more coffee capsules. We tried breakfast on the last morning and while it isn’t huge, it’s great value for what you pay, plenty of options and all fairly tasty. We’d gladly stay again - it has been the best accommodation we’ve stayed at in our travels so far! We love Granada and Room Mate Leo."
