"The Bridge Inn at Holmrook. Our room was really comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The whole of the Bridge Inn is dog friendly and welcoming to our pair of 4paws. The breakfast was brilliant. There's a really good selection to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. We ate at the Bridge Inn every night because the food was excellent. The last time we ate food that good was when we ate at James Martin's restaurant. The menu had just the right amount of dishes to choose from and the helpings were spot on. We never met the chef but s/he gets 10/10. Last, but certainly not least the staff, everyone was welcoming and friendly. There is however one member of staff we would like to mention in particular. Unfortunately we didn't catch her name but she was wonderful. She was there first thing in the morning and last thing at night and always had a wonderful smile on her face and an eagerness to help wether on reception, behind the bar or serving meals. We would recommend a stay at the Bridge Inn to everyone. Well done to every member of staff there and thank you for making our stay so memorable. Thank you all."

"Basic but functional stay. Completely acceptable for the price you pay. Digital access to building and room worked well and I assume keeps costs down. More of our closed down pubs should be converted along the lines of this model. Absolutely fantastic pub just across the road with great food, beer and vibe. Completely fine for a one night stop."
