"Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure."

"This hotel is old and tired. It needs a total updating. It was 15 C outside and we ran the AC full blast the entire time and the room was always 24 - 25 C. The bathroom fixtures were salvaged from the wreck of the titanic and the hot water was scalding, very easy to get scalded if you weren't careful.
The hotel was in a convenient location for getting around St. John's.
The breakfast in the adjacent pub (included with the room) was very good although it didn't offer a lot of options (yogurt,...

"The Manor is well kept. The breakfast was nice, there was cereal, bread, bagels, croissants, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, coffee, tea, juices. Served in a cozy kitchen that sat 13 people..a great opportunity to meet people and chat. There was always someone there on staff to ensure the breakfast was was stocked and answer questions.
